Born in Southern California, Christopher Egan is one of America’s most outstanding nature photographers. Chris has been creating fine art photographs since the age of 18.
In search of nature at its most beautiful and bountiful, Chris toured the globe, finding his home on Maui in 1991. Early on in his artistic career, Chris broadened his scope as an artist by representing many famous artists while owning and operating his own fine art galleries.
Chris is passionate about capturing the raw essence of nature in its full range of expressions. His mission is to capture flawless images. Although Chris has reverence for all of nature, his favorite images to shoot include trees, the ocean, and landscapes.
Chris has been in the fine art business for over twenty five years. In 2008 he opened his first fine art gallery, Christopher Egan Galleries in Lahaina Town, Maui, Hawai’i. His second Gallery is brilliantly showcased in the lobby of the Grand Wailea Resort in Wailea, Maui. Currently you can find Chris in his galleries or actively on the road searching for that next perfect photograph.
